2022年にはフランスへ留学をし、ディプロマを取得

ピアノを坂井千春氏、松田紗依氏に、ソルフェージュを有田可恵氏に師事

音楽の持つ力に心を動かされ、幼少期よりピアノに親しんできました。現在はピアノ講師として、また演奏活動を通じて、一人でも多くの方に音楽の素晴らしさを届けることを使命としています。

演奏ではクラシックを中心に、ジャンルにとらわれず心に響く音を大切に。レッスンでは、一人ひとりの個性やペースに寄り添いながら、「音楽って楽しい！」と感じてもらえるよう丁寧に指導しています。

音楽は年齢や経験を問わず、誰にでも寄り添ってくれる人生のパートナーです。その魅力を伝え、共に音楽を楽しむ時間を大切にしていきたいと考えています。

A Musician Who Plays to the Heart
Started playing the piano at the age of four.
Awarded the Bronze Prize in the Junior High Division at the 19th Chopin International Piano Competition in Asia, the Gold Prize in the High School Division at the 22nd national competition, and the Silver Prize at the Asia Finals.
Received the Best 18 Award in the National Finals of the 2018 PTNA Piano Competition (Grade E), the Special Prize at the Finals of the 20th Japan Performers Competition, and 2nd Prize in the Senior B Division at the National Finals of the 24th PIARA Piano Competition.
In 2022, studied abroad in France and obtained a diploma.
​I studied piano under Chiharu Sakai and Sae Matsuda,and studied solfege under Kae Arita.
Moved by the power of music, I have been playing the piano since childhood. Today, as both a piano instructor and performing pianist, I am dedicated to sharing the beauty of music with as many people as possible.
While my performances are rooted in classical music, I value music that touches the heart, regardless of genre. In my lessons, I tailor my teaching to each student’s individuality and pace, always aiming to help them discover the joy of music.
I believe music is a lifelong companion that welcomes everyone, regardless of age or experience. It is my passion to share that joy and to create moments where we can truly connect through music.

【ギター】カーペンター・ラファエルRaphael Carpenter
情熱的な音楽家

10歳のとき、2006年のクリスマス休暇中に兄弟2人と一緒に楽器を欲しいと頼んだことをきっかけに、ギターを始めました。それ以来、ギターへの愛情を持ち続け、ニューヨーク州北部、京都、そしてカリフォルニア州北部・南部など、世界各地のさまざまな指導者のもとで学んできました。家族とともに各地を移動する中で、ブルース、ロック、メタル、ジャズといった音楽ジャンルを学びました。

これらのジャンルを学ぶ一方で、2014年夏、18歳のときにクラシックギター奏者としての道を歩み始めました。最初の個人指導教師であるショーン・オコナーのもとで1年間クラシックギターのレッスンを受けた後、カリフォルニア州立大学ノースリッジ校（CSUN）の音楽学部に合格し、ロサンゼルス・ギター・カルテット（LAGQ）の世界的に著名な演奏家ジョン・ディアマンに2年間師事しました。その間、CSUNギターカルテットの一員としても活動しました。

2017年秋にはカリフォルニア州サクラメントに移り、2019年秋までカリフォルニア州立大学サクラメント校でリチャード・サヴィーノに師事しました。さらに、国際的なクラシックギター・フェスティバルにおいて、ローラン・ディアンス、ジェイソン・ヴィオー、デイヴィッド・ラッセル、スコット・テナント、エリオット・フィスク、ビル・カネンギーザー、ヨハネス・モラー、ジュディカエル・ペロワ、ペペ・ロメロ、セルジオ・アサド、ベンジャミン・ヴァーダリーなど、世界的に著名なアーティストからマスタークラスや個人レッスンを受けてきました。2019年秋にはクラシックギター演奏専攻で音楽学士号を取得しています。

現在、ソロギターのための作曲や編曲にも情熱を注ぎ、楽器としてのギターの可能性を広げることを大切にしています。

A Passionate Musician
Raphael has been playing the guitar since the age of ten, when he and his two brothers asked for musical instruments during Christmas break of 2006. Ever since then, Raphael has had a love for the guitar studying with a variety of instructors from different parts of the world, such as in Upstate New York; Kyoto, Japan; and Northern and Southern California. Throughout his travels along with his family, he studied musical genres such as blues, rock, metal, and jazz. In addition to learning these musical genres, Raphael started the journey as a classical guitarist at the age of eighteen in the summer of 2014. After a year of doing classical guitar lessons with his first private instructor Sean O'Connor, Raphael made it into the CSUN music department to study with world renown performer of the LAGQ (Los Angeles Guitar Quartet) John Dearman for two years while also being a part of the CSUN guitar quartet. In the fall of 2017, Raphael moved to Sacramento, CA to study with Richard Savino at CSU Sacramento State until Fall 2019. Raphael has also had masterclasses and private instruction from world renown artists at international classical guitar festivals including Roland Dyens, Jason Vieaux, David Russell, Scott Tennant, Eliot Fisk, Bill Kanengiser, Johannes Möller, Judicaël Perroy, Pepe Romero, Sergio Assad, Benjamin Verdery and others. He received his Bachelor of Music Degree in Classical Guitar Performance in Fall 2019. Raphael is also a guitar and bass instructor at CB Music Studios in Roseville, California; as well as teaches privately in the Sacramento area.
He also loves composing pieces and arranging for solo guitar in order to broaden the possibilities of the instrument.

6歳からクラシックバレエを始める。フミ・ダンシング・アカデミー入所。山本史子、堀田麻子、北村桜桃らに師事。同アカデミーにて11歳からジャズダンスを倉本珠絵氏に師事。

2021年JBA公益社団法人日本バレエ協会10年間研修修業認定取得

感覚だけに頼らず、身体の使い方や声の仕組みも踏まえながら、安心して確実に声を育てていけるレッスンを行っています。

A Musician Like an Angel Dancing in the Snow

Shu Ishikawa is currently studying in the Virtuoso Course of the Performance Department at Musashino Academia Musicae. She is a recipient of the Naoki Fukui Memorial Scholarship (full scholarship, Reiwa 5 academic year). She holds a First-Class Junior High School Teaching Certificate in Music and is expected to obtain her First-Class High School Teaching Certificate in Music in March 2027.

She has received several awards in major vocal competitions, including 3rd Prize in the Vocal Division (High School Category) at the 42nd All Japan Junior Classical Music Competition, 3rd Prize in the Vocal Division (Age-H) at the 23rd Osaka International Music Competition, 5th Prize in the Vocal Division (High School Girls Category) at the National Finals of the 32nd Japan Classical Music Competition, and an Encouragement Award in the Vocal Division (University Category) at the 26th Japan Performer Competition.

Her operatic experience includes appearing as GloBolinks (Dancer) in the Musashino Academia Musicae Special Opera Production “Help! Help! Aliens Are Attacking!” and performing the role of Pamina in The Magic Flute as part of the 2024 Musashino Academia Musicae Open Lecture Series, featuring a special public lecture by Guest Professor Tamasaburo Bando.

She has studied voice training under Takaaki Hashizume and classical singing under Asako Morinaga.

She began classical ballet at the age of six at Fumi Dancing Academy, studying under Fumiko Yamamoto, Asako Hotta, and Oto Kitamura. From the age of eleven, she also studied jazz dance under Tamae Kuramoto. In 2021, she received certification for completing ten years of professional training from the Japan Ballet Association.

In her teaching, Shu Ishikawa places strong emphasis on fundamental vocal production. Lessons are carefully tailored to each individual voice, focusing on healthy, sustainable techniques. By addressing both physical awareness and the mechanics of the voice, she provides a safe and supportive environment for steady vocal development. From beginners to those seeking greater expressive depth, she is committed to supporting each student’s goals with care and responsibility.
